Peering Inside Spaceport America

The idea to build the first commercial spaceport in the world appeared in 1990s. The perfect location was found in southern New Mexico. The construction of the runway began in 2008.

Today this runway is 10,000 feet (3,000 m) long. While the construction of hangars and terminals continues, we can peer inside the future purpose-built commercial spaceport thanks to photos and artist renderings.
