The Eruption of the Chilean Volcano Puyehue

The eruption of the Puyehue in Chile on June 4th continues to cause trouble. The pumice and ash is polluting the lakes and rivers that are close by which threatens to damage dams which could result in flooding.

The resorts in Argentina are trying to restore the electricity and water supply that were interrupted by the eruption of this volcano.

Residents who were evacuated from local farms are worried about their livestock because of the volcanic ash that remains.

The ash cloud from the volcano is already disrupting the normal functioning of flights of Australia and New Zealand
