The Philippine villagers caught a giant crocodile that was terrorizing many tribespeople in the south of the country. The hunt lasted for a couple of weeks.
The local government hired crocodile hunters and spent over $7,000 for the operation. The reptile managed to eat a bull and, maybe, a farmer who had gone missing.
The villagers feared the now famous crocodile so a group of hunters trapped and caught it. It turned out that the huge reptile at 21 ft (6.4 m) weighs 1,075 kg.
The animal was taken to a new home in the village of Consuelo. It now lives in a big lagoon with concrete walls and iron mesh. Local officials want to enter the Guinness World Records with their massive “prize”.

Who Invented Owling?
Owls are a group of birds that belong to the order Strigiformes, constituting 200 extant bird of prey species. Most are solitary and nocturnal, with some exceptions (e.g. the Northern Hawk Owl). Owls hunt mostly small mammals, insects, and other birds, although a few species specialize in hunting fish. They are found in all regions of the Earth except Antarctica, most of Greenland and some remote islands. Though owls are typically solitary, the literary collective noun for a group of owls is a parliament.
