When I was little I kept asking my parents to go to the Zoo. I have always loved all kinds of animals and Zoo, for me, was like heaven – all the animals in one place! I just enjoyed walking and watching, and despite the prohibition of feeding them I was doing it.
Well, in this Zoo I wouldn’t have anyone to feed! This is Swetsville Zoo – I think it is unique in the world, and in my humble opinion, is really cool. This cool Zoo is made by Bill Swets, ex-farmer, now the zookeeper. When I say made, I really mean “made” – he made all animals by himself, from car parts, farm machinery, and scrap metal. There are currently over 160 Bill’s outstanding sculptures. I’d really like to visit once Bill and his amazing Zoo.
