Living in a 300-square-foot Bus

Some people only drive a bus, while this family actually lives in one. Learn more after the jump.

Mike and Natalie Young have embarked on a journey together as newlyweds and living in a renovated school bus they named “Rosie”. They found it on Craigslist for about $3,000. They are accompanied by their faithful companion Atlas, a rescued dog they found a few months ago.

Mike makes a cup of tea on the camping stove inside the main living area.

Natalie flips through a magazine while reading on the bed in the rear of the bus. A curtain attaches with magnets to the roof to provide privacy and warmth on a chilly night.

The couple has made a wonderfully cozy environment to live in with lots of natural lighting provided by the many windows.

The bus is fully functional as the couple plans to drive it to Washington State when they will live.

Atlas has ample room to run in a friend’s backyard, but spends a lot of time with the Youngs inside the bus.

The couple has currently parked their 300-square-foot (around 28 square meters) bus in their friend’s large backyard, but embarking on their next adventure north. Rosie will be their home for the foreseeable future.
