A hotel for the dead is now open in Japan.
The Japanese whose relatives passed away can now send the corpses for an overnight stay in Lastel Hotel in Yokohama. Since they have to wait for a crematorium oven for at least 4 days, they prefer to use half-way morgues such as Lastel rather than keep the dead bodies at home.
The Japanese Ghoulish hotel tucks up corpses in refrigerated coffins for $157 (12,000 yen). Family and friends can visit and pay respects to deceased any time.
