Park rangers found this seven-and-a-half month old baby elephant close to death in the Vwaza Wildlife Reserve in Malawi. Moses,
whose mother had been killed by poachers, was adopted by the Jumbo
Foundation where is being cared for and raised by humans. Here are some
touching photos of the brave survivor.
This is Moses' adopted "mother," Jenny.
He sleeps with her.
Moses likes playing in the dust.
He also likes nuzzling his trunk.
In this picture, Moses is waiting at his feeding spot to eat.
Eat up, Moses!
Moses has already made a bunch of new friends.
He's also very curious. In this picture, he's inspecting a soda can.
